Kevin Wernette:  “So far, we’re real pleased with the program, the uniformity of the calf crop, and the top quality calves.  The property landlord gets 2-3 stoppers a week when the heifers and their calves are in the pasture next to his home.  People want to know the background of the herd.  We’re also getting lots of club calve interest.  In two years, we hope to have heifers for sale to interested producers.”
